The classic game of checkers turned into a book! Even though this design is similar to chess, it has some really important differences to make it work great for checkers.

Disguised as a book
This design blends in on your bookshelf or table. But when you're ready to play, turn the cover and you're presented with your checkers pieces. The book folds open and stands up to form the board. The pieces magnetize to the board and to the cubbies.

Magniflip
I designed geometry inside the checkers board that allows the magnet to flip specifically for this design. That means you can flip your checkers piece to king it and the magnet will still work!

Stands Strong
For this design, I added locking geometry that holds the board up even on slippery surfaces.

Easy Storage
Since this looks like a book when you're not playing. You can store it anywhere. And since the covers hold together with magnets, all your pieces are secure inside. Just open the book to play, and shut the book to put it away.
